HERITAGE CRAFTS

100% hand-made with rare heritage crafts

We are dedicated to reviving the rarest and most intangible of cultural techniques for our products. Once exclusively available only to royalty, some of these processes have been lost for thousands of years. To bring these ancient treasures back to life, we collaborate with experienced craftsmen and conduct extensive experimentation.

Even though only craftsmen with decades of expertise and practice can create these one-of-a-kind pieces, the success rate is usually less than 1%.

Our mission is to preserve these cultural relics for future generations, uphold the traditions and history of these crafts, and share them with the world.

breaking the boundaries with eastern materials

We seek only the best quality eastern materials from all around the world.

Furthermore, we are also revolutionizing the way materials are used. By combining ceramic with metal, two substances not traditionally associated together, and deconstructing the ratios they are normally used in, we challenge these thousand-year-old Eastern masteries with Western artistic inspirations; we bridge the physical spaces between East and West and transcend time to create porcelain rooted firmly in antiquity recontextualized to modern ideals.

BLANC DE CHINE

Blanc de Chine’s snowy elegance and misty allure enchant even the savviest connoisseurs, representing a cultural heritage once on the brink of extinction. Its unparalleled durability and maximal whiteness, achieved by firing at the world’s highest temperature, make it the indisputable crown of white porcelain. Only the finest and unblemished kaolin clay found in Dehua can serve as the raw material for Blanc de Chine.

Blanc de Chine is virtually devoid of all hazardous substances, making it the preeminent material for tableware, and ideal for the safe consumption of food and beverages. Each object is a masterpiece, as only three out of every hundred pieces fired can come out flawless.

Perfecting its ancient methodology, Arrosé has resurrected this previously lost art form through strong collaborations with regional craftsmen and artisans.

An Odyssey - THE STORY OF "ARTEMIS"

Originally from the soil, ceramics are extremely malleable and can only be formed after being subjected to intense heat. This ancient oriental material perfectly captures the fiery spirit of “Artemis” that we wanted to convey.

However, the fine details and intricate shapes of the pieces required a level of technology that went beyond what is normally seen in ceramic production. It took over a year of experimentation and refining for our designs to finally be perfected. Every piece is 100% handmade, with our craftsmen spending days meticulously carving out every grain and every groove.

Arrosé subversively combines ceramic from the East with metals from the West. With over 50 processes involved, our breakthrough technology unlocks the potential of ceramic, giving this ancient material a fresh and captivating appeal.
