A Return to Self
Arrosé means “watered” or “irrigated” in French.
We chose this term to symbolize the act of tending to yourself, so that you may flourish. We believe the home is more than a refuge. It is a vessel for one’s duality. In exploring “interiority,” we transcend the creation of mere objects. Instead, Arrosé is a return to self - a continual journey of dualities: Eastern attitudes and Western forms, graceful gestures of a distant past to shape the future.
Transform Dualities into Harmony
Arrosé is a journey that has led us to create and harness rare and unexpected artistic techniques to breathe new life into ancient traditions of honoring material and craft. In each collection, we deconstruct form and materials to unveil their core, navigating between two extremes to find beauty in balance.
Through this journey of exploration and reinvention, we dig deeper into ourselves, also landing at a point where the self can be at peace.
Material Heritage Rebellious Experimentation with Intangible Legacies
Our work is a bold challenge to conventional norms, a revolution in design and material use. Through the wisdom of rare materials and crafts recognized as Intangible Cultural Heritage, we weave timeless legacies with a spirit of innovation and deconstruction. Every curve, every hue echoes ancient artisan practices and techniques almost lost in time.
In our hands, material is not merely shaped, but transformed; to forge a path that honors the past while fearlessly embracing the future.
Our Sense of Purpose
Founded in New York City as a homeware brand, Arrosé designs and defines the art of living. We connect with artisans across the world to craft objects to inspire. In our design practice, we merge past and future aesthetics and techniques, thrive on creativity, resilience, and innovation, and commit ourselves to creating pieces that challenge conventional norms. Each piece we design transcends aesthetics and symbolizes our relentless pursuit of individuality in any interior space. We design from a sensuous place to create tactile landscapes.
